NHH Services is proud to have supported a freight agent and member of the NHH family during a time in need. 
This specific NHH freight agent’s 19-year-old son, Gunnar, was diagnosed with leukemia in July 2017. The entire family was devastated, but efforts began to fight the cancer and Gunnar has been undergoing multiple weekly chemo treatments.
NHH helped sell digital raffle tickets, which all proceeds benefited Gunnar’s medical costs not covered by his family’s insurance. Along with community members, other agents, drivers, vendors and the help and support of their affiliate companies, Medallion Transport and Logistics and Ace Heavy Haul, over $22,000 was raised for Gunnar and his family.
The drawing was for a 2006 Harley FLHTCUI (Ultra Classic), donated by a friend of Gunnar’s family.
Recently, Gunnar had three lengthy stays at STL Children’s hospital and his doctors expect that he will be receiving treatment until November 2020. This money will help pay for medical and other expenses while Gunnar continues to battle leukemia.
