Even though it’s not an official holiday such as National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, NHH Services wants to show truck drivers their appreciation. 
The company will host its first annual Trucker Appreciation Day on Thursday, June 14 from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m., complete with a barbecue lunch and giveaways at its Baytown Operation Center (BOC) in Baytown, Texas.
Open to all drivers, and not just freight agents and owner operators associated with the company, NHH Services wants to simply acknowledge the hard work of truck drivers Nationwide.
“The idea is to thank drivers for their service to the industry,” said NHH Services’ VP of Heavy Haul, Jesse Merrell.
NHH will also open its event to drivers, freight agents and owner-ops of its affiliate heavy haul and truckload companies, ACE Heavy Haul and Medallion Transport & Logistics.
In addition to the barbecue lunch, giveaways such as hats, T-shirts and more will be distributed to drivers who attend. All drivers will also be given the opportunity to enter a raffle for more items, including gift cards.
